Description: This 3-3/4" wide cabinet size specimen of pyrite crystals has a thin gray "coating" of molybdenite on select crystal faces. In the 1960's these specimens were labeled "Bravoite on Pyrite", but the species has since been discredited and confirmed as molybdenite. A beautiful example of classic Colorado Rico Mine pyrite in superb condition. Specimen weighs 1lb, 12oz (792 grams).
