Description: The specimen shown is a rare example of the silver sulfosalt, pyrargyrite, intermixed in a sulfide rich matrix from historic Georgetown District of Colorado. The pyrargyrite can be seen in areas that show a reddish color throughout the matrix. Making it even more rare is the old label accompanying it that specifies the exact location (Pay Rock Mine) that it came from. Likely a specimen from the 1920's-1930's. RARE!
