Description: |
Long, slender, bright yellow color carpathite crystals are encased in druzy quartz along with a few blebs of red color cinnabar in association. Carpathite is an organic compound mineral that is known for it's bright fluorescence under shortwave UV light (see second photo). It comes from San Benito County in California, very near the famous Benitoite Gem Mine. From a noted find back in the early 2000's. |
