Description: |
This San Genaro specimen has native silver with an oxidation coating of black acanthite that has crystals reaching 4cm in length! The host white color mineral was determined not to be rhodochrosite (shown on prior owner label), but later confirmed as siderite by noted gold and silver mineral dealer Scott Wershky. This is a very aesthetic ultra classic Peruvian silver specimen. |
