If you have ever had the inclination to learn more about rare micro minerals, specimens from the Silver Coin Mine in Nevada would be an excellent starting point. The specimen shown here has a minimum of four phosphate and sulfate identified minerals and more are bound to turn up with further study. You will need magnification for this since all are micro. There are 144 valid minerals and 8(TL) type locality minerals found at this Nevada mine. Phosphates Galore! Specimen includes two labels from well-recognized micro mineral dealer-collectors. |
